Overview
The goal of the project is to migrate an old, clunky, hard-coded eCommerce website to Shopify. The client wanted to retain the simplistic design and overall branding of the site as they were on a tight budget. They also needed support and maintenance of the site for a year from the relaunch date.
Goals
- Migrate the entire online store to Shopify from an old platform.
- Retain the store’s overall branding and layout.
- Improve product page
- Improve checkout process
- Must be mobile-responsive
- Improve user’s shopping experience
- Maintain the store for a year
Approach
- Come up with a strategy to migrate inventory and database without issues.
- Must have little-to-no downtime during migration
- Customize the website to retain the branding and overall layout of the previous website.
- Support and maintain the website to keep it secure and running smoothly without issues.
